Meet Alex

Following an engineering and management career in the automotive original equipment industry with Uniroyal Canada and Magna International, Alex made a life changing decision with his wife Janice to move to “Cottage Country” and begin a new career in new home sales and construction. In 1986 Alex and Janice founded Granite Point Homes primarily to market Lindal Cedar Homes and Hanover Kitchens.

In the following years Alex obtained his real estate license and an international real estate franchise which grew to four offices in north Muskoka and The Almaguin Highlands. Following the sale of his interest in the franchise and the decision to semi retire, an unexpected opportunity arose which postponed Alex’ planned retirement, indefinitely. Real Estate has remained a big part of his life, but with Royal LePage Lakes of Muskoka.

Alex now is helping to introduce a new company to central Ontario. This new company is Cape Cross Homes which will be marketing Riverbend Timber Framing, one of the largest and oldest timber frame companies in North America. Alex has learned from past experience that having the ability to offer clients both resale and new home choices results in win/win opportunities for all involved.

A recent example of Alex’ commitment to his profession is he has completed the educational requirements through the National Association of Green Agents and Brokers and is now an “Accredited Green Broker”. www.nagab.org
