Alex
and his wife Janice were cottagers from 1978 to 1986 on Oxtongue Lake
(Hwy 60)
They then decided to make cottage country their permanent home and incorporated Granite Point Homes to market, design, sell and manage the construction of Lindal Cedar homes and cottages. In 1993 Alex obtained his real estate license. In 1997 he purchased an international real estate franchise, obtained his Brokers license and in 2004 sold to subsequent partners. In the spring of 2004 Alex joined Royal LePage Lakes of Muskoka Realty Inc.
Alex's 28 years of cottage country experience has encompassed much of cottage country. In addition to 8 years cottaging on Oxtongue Lake, he built two of his own homes in Huntsville including a Lindal model home on Highway 11, owned and operated a custom home building business in Huntsville for 18 years, co-owned/managed real estate offices in Huntsville, Burk's Falls and Dorset.
Alex and his wife now divide their time between their cottage on Pickerel Lake in the Almaguin Highlands and their lake front condo in Huntsville.
